Craig Mockford
Executive Director
Craig completed his B.Com (Accounting and Information Systems) and post-graduate diploma in Accounting at the University of Cape Town in 1994. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
After completing his training contract with Deloitte & Touche in 1997, Craig spent time in London working for both Abbey National Treasury Services and the Royal Bank of Scotland in their Treasury and Capital Markets area. Craig returned to South Africa at the end of 1999 where he worked for Prudential Portfolio Managers Unit Trusts Ltd.
He was appointed as a director of the management company at the beginning of 2006. Craig joined Prescient in August 2006 and is the Chief Executive Officer of Prescient Fund Services.

Grant Jacobi
Executive Director
Grant Jacobi is the Head of Operations at Prescient Fund Services (Ireland) Limited, where he is responsible for the overall Fund Operations delivery, including Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Graduate Diploma in Commerce and has over 16 years’ experience in the investment funds industry. Prior to joining Prescient Fund Services in 2011 he held a number of management positions within the ASB Group, a subsidiary of Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He has extensive experience in managing Fund Operational teams, and has been responsible for managing Prescient Fund Service’s Risk and Compliance functions since Prescient Fund Services was authorised as a UCITS manager in 2011.

Eoin Gleeson
Executive Director
Eoin Gleeson is the Head of Finance at Prescient Fund Services (Ireland) Limited and has over 15 years of accounting experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University and is a fully Qualified ACCA accountant and ACCA member since 2013. He received two awards for finishing 1st and 3rd in Ireland while completing his ACCA exams. Prior to joining Prescient Fund Services in 2010 he held supervisory and management positions within the PFPC International, HedgeServ and UBS. He has extensive experience in managing Fund Operational teams and has been responsible for managing Prescient Fund Service’s Fund Accounting team since Prescient Fund Services was authorised as a UCITS manager in 2011.

Herman Steyn
Executive Director
Herman has been in investment management since 1985, holding senior positions in several asset management companies. He began his career when awarded a bursary from Old Mutual, studying a BBus Sci majoring in Actuarial Science, Statistics (Honours) and Economics. After a period at Old Mutual, he co-founded an asset management company. In 1993 Herman started the first index tracker fund, the Composite Unit Trust, in South Africa. This was sold to Investec, which he joined in 1995. He established Investec’s international fund management capability, establishing fund structures in Dublin.
In 1998 Herman and Guy Toms founded Prescient Investment Management which applies its investment techniques to cash, bonds, equities, balanced portfolios and asset allocation.

Emily Davy
Executive Director
Emily Davy joined Prescient Fund Services (Ireland) Limited (PFSI) in August 2018 as Head of Legal and Compliance. In addition to advising PFSI on its business and regulatory requirements, she also provides legal support and advice in relation to all aspects of the Prescient Group’s European fund platforms, as well as in relation to certain of Prescient’s key global initiatives. Emily also serves as PFSI’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
Prior to joining Prescient, Emily practiced financial services law with both international and domestic law firms, with specific focus on asset management and investment funds, advising a wide range of domestic and international clients on all aspects of their business, including their asset management activities and the structuring, establishment, marketing and sale of investment vehicles and products in Ireland and other jurisdictions.
Emily has worked at Walkers Global, a leading Irish and offshore law firm, where she was an Of Counsel in the Investment Funds Group. She has also spent a number of years in the Investment Funds Department at Matheson, another leading Irish law firm where she trained and qualified.
Emily holds a Bachelor in Civil Law and French from University College Cork and Université Robert Schumann Strasbourg, as well as a Diploma in Applied Finance Law. A member of the Law Society of Ireland, Emily has also acted as a lecturer on Irish investment funds and regulatory topics for the Irish Tax Institute and has served as a committee member of the Irish Funds Association Legal and Regulatory Groups, contributing to multiple submissions, papers and industry guidelines.

Carey Millerd
Non-Executive Director
Carey has over 23 years’ experience in the investment management industry having started his career with UAL Merchant Bankin 1982. His initial experience was in the private client area before assuming responsibility with the Executive Director for business development of both the institutional and unit trust areas.
He left the industry in 1987 to start his own marketing and advertising company. In 1994 he rejoined the financial services industry and after short stints with Fleming Martin and UAL, joined Nedcor Bank as head of Retail Liabilities. Carey was also tasked with the establishment of Nedbank's offshore and domestic investment products. During this time he was CEO of the Nedcor Bank Management Company with particular responsibility for all operational and strategic functions. He was later transferred to NIB as CEO of their management company and as a member of both NIB and NIB Asset Management's executive committees.
Carey has been a member of many committees in the unit trust industry, including chairman of its Fund Management Committee.

Heather Frayne
SENIOR COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Heather joined Prescient Fund Services (Ireland) Limited as Senior Compliance Officer, responsible for ensuring the Company’s compliance, AIFs and UCITS under management with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. With 20 years of experience in the industry having worked in fund administration, investment management and fund management, she previously worked at Bridge Consulting Limited in Dublin as Designated Person & Operations Manager; at Pinnacle Canada Fund Services in Vancouver in Canada as Senior Manager Fund Operations; at Genus Capital Management, also in Vancouver, as Manager Fund Operations; and finally at IFS (International Funds Services) A State Street Company (Ireland) in AVP Fund Accounting before joining Prescient. Heather holds a BA Finance & Economics degree (Joint Honours) from the National University of Ireland, Maynooth as well as the following designations:
